Casual Relief Worker - Women/Family Support Worker - Launceston Women's Shelter

Magnolia Place LWS (Launceston Women’s Shelter Inc) is a Specialist Homelessness Service providing short-term crisis accommodation to women and their children experiencing homelessness and/or escaping family violence.

We invite women to apply for the position of “Relief Worker” to provide relief cover for our permanent workers who work with women and children.  

Qualifications: 

• Relevant Social Work degree or diploma.
• Knowledge, experience or willingness to learn trauma informed practices.
• Resilient, passionate and a team player.
• A good communicator.
• Hold a current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.
• Have a current Tasmanian National Police Certificate.
• Have a current Working with Vulnerable People’s Card
• Hold a current First Aid Certificate HLTAID 009 and 011.
