As part of our mission, we are seeking a skilled and passionate Sleep Technician to join our team.
About the Role:
Key responsibilities include:
- Produce high-quality physiological recordings using a range of monitoring equipment to ensure accurate sleep studies.
- Provide technical support for SALHN research studies related to sleep disorders and treatments.
- Provide technical support to treatment programs, including long-term nocturnal ventilation, to ensure optimal patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant Technical discipline such as physiology, psychology, neuroscience, nursing, or equivalent.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating sleep monitoring equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Previous experience in conducting sleep studies and analysing physiological data is highly desirable. Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
