About the opportunity
The College is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified dynamic language educators to be part of a casual pool for teaching in our Online English for Specific Academic Purposes units. These 10-week units are offered twice a year to offshore institutional partners in day and afternoon/evening classes. The duties of the Casual Teaching Staff may include:
- Online teaching including online classes, student consultation sessions and discussion forums
- Marking and moderation
- Curriculum and resource development
About you
You will be a passionate TESOL qualified teacher with a demonstrated ability to work with individuals from diverse linguistic, ethnic and academic backgrounds. Specifically, you will have:
- Recent professional development in TESOL
- Knowledge of teaching technologies
- Ability to teach effectively in a pathway University setting
- Ability to contribute to a positive learning environment focused on engagement and outcomes.
Salary and benefits

- The casual hourly teaching rate will be from $67.30.
