AddressChisholm's Senior Secondary Department is seeking VIT registered teachers to support us with our VCE and VCE VM subjects.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Casual teacher in our Senior Secondary department, your key responsibilities include:
- Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners
- Ensure that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, training packages and related requirements
- Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning
- Adapt learning and assessment materials to cater for different students, learning environments, facilities, and resources
- Undertake a range of administrative, coordination, and learning services activities directly related to the areas taught
- Assist in relation to the establishment, maintenance, and review of teaching programs
- Maintain a respectful, and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.
Qualifications, skills and experience required for the role:
- Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Approved tertiary qualification in Education with a major in a VCE VM related discipline or
- Professional qualifications relevant to delivery of VCE VM core strands of study
- A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current VCE VM (VCAL) teaching knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to develop VCE VM (or VCAL) integrated delivery models, learning resources and assessment tasks to meet desired learning outcomes and VCAA compliance requirements
- Proven success in engaging young people in senior secondary programs to maximise the student experience
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and guide students to optimise their learning outcomes.
