What will I contribute?
To co-ordinate the Category demand and supply processes to optimise efficiency to meet service, target and inventory levels
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and generate weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports
- Ensure the demand planning process is timely, accurate and verifiable
- Co-ordinate and maintain the short to mid-term forecast in conjunction with the sales and supply teams
- Analyse demand variances, identify trends and anomalies to improve short to mid-term forecast accuracy
- Assist with the implementation of optimum inventory levels to ensure delivery to meet agreed service levels
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our internal sales, supply teams and third-party supplier network to facilitate aligned inventory levels
- Assist with contingency product in the event of product supply shortfalls and ensure sourcing of non-scheduled product adheres to the Approved Supplier Program
What do I need for the role?
You’ll have:
- At least 3 years' experience in a fast-paced demand planning environment
- An understanding of and experience with forecasting systems including the ability to extract information and reports
- Experience in developing and implementing processes designed to optimise Category order fulfilment efficiency and effectiveness
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and numeracy capability
- Intermediate to advance Excel skill and Microsoft Office (v-lookups/pivots tables essential)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve outcomes
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics or a related area
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
