The Opportunity
The Senior Demand Planner is responsible for the leadership and development of the demand planning platform for your customer as a key component of the Integrated Business Planning process across TAG. Delivering process leadership with a focus on relentless execution, the Senior Demand Planner recommends, designs, builds and implements best-in-class demand planning solutions in consultation with Sales, IBP and the broader TAG business.
The Accountabilities
- In conjunction with TAGs broader IBP Improvement Plan, support delivery of the Demand Planning strategy that outlines our improvement initiatives across process and digital solutions
- Provide leadership in the design, build and implementation of all IBP Demand Planning initiatives
- Lead the transition from current-state to a best-in-class future-state demand planning organization
- Using your exceptional problem solving, creativity and judgement to solve complexity, lead the monthly Consensus, Pre-Demand and Demand Review process for your customer(s) in consultation with Sales, Finance and the broader Demand Planning team
- Manage assumptions, the mitigation of risks and identification of new opportunities
The Ingredients for Success
Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Finance or Marketing
- 7-10 years’ experience in Demand Planning, Sales & Operations Planning and/or Integrated Business Planning
- 5 + years’ experience in FMCG/CPG, Pharmaceutical or associated industries, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Exceptional working knowledge of Planning Systems, Reporting & Advanced Analytics Tools and IBP Management Tools (JDA/Blue Yonder, SAP APO/IBP, Tableau, Power BI)
- Highly analytical and detailed focused
