Demand Planner

Cosmax Prestige Brands has been a leading distributor of luxury fragrance and beauty products within Australia for over 30 years. Based in Banksmeadow, our exceptional team are passionate about our amazing portfolio of luxury Brands. We are now seeking a Demand Planner to join our team.

If you have been in Demand Planning for the last few years and are looking for that next challenge, this could be the role for you.

Working as an integral part of our Supply Chain team, you will also work closely with our Warehouse and Marketing teams as we ensure our luxury brands are brought to market in a timely and cost effective manner. This role supports all aspects of purchasing and is critical to ensuring the company meets its supply obligations.

Your core tasks will include:

• Collaborating with internal teams to analyse and recommend forecasts for new product launches.
• Generating and submission of monthly product forecasts, analysis of actual versus previous forecasts, and generating additional forward forecasts where required.
• Placing replenishment orders with local and international suppliers based on information gathered from the marketing department.
• Analysing stock trends by SKU and franchise and providing detailed and summary reports and analysis.
• Generating additional reports such as excess stock report, out-of-stock report, and back-order reports.
• Analysing lost sales and making recommendations to assist in minimizing these.
• Analysis and review of market and item trends.
• Responsible for the product lifecycle management including set up, maintenance and discontinuations.
• Maintenance of purchasing budget by supplier and managing and communicating any supplier issues relating to products or fulfilments.

• You have excellent time management and communication skills.
• You have worked in Demand Planning for at least 2 years.
• Ideally you will have worked in Consumer Products or FMCG.
• You have very strong Excel skills (Pronto or SAP would be great too).
