Category Specialist

WHAT YOU WILL DOYou will be responsible for developing, executing and managing the category strategy & report on opportunities to generate value to the group. You will also support enquiries from internal customers for goods & services in the management and construction of projects at Ampcontrol. This role will provide exceptional customer service to key personnel from all Ampcontrol sites in a cross-functional capacity and drive the implementation strategy of Category Management.

 Within this role, you will perform market research; development of processes, policy and procedures; and supplier reviews. Together with the cross-functional team members, you will achieve synergies and process improvements with a focus on cost savings and supply benefits.  Some travel to other Ampcontrol sites and customer / supplier locations may be a requirement of this role.
