About Us:
Refresh Hospitality is a boutique, full-service event agency. Our team of 50 full-timers and 250 casuals (and 4 puppies!) manage hundreds of weddings and events each year between our seventh event venues & external catering jobs. Weddings are our bread & butter, but we work across a full range and styles of events.
About the Job:
We are looking to add to our team of function chefs. As a functioning chef, you will lead the kitchen at an off-site catering job.
Styles: Cocktail events, plated sit-down events, shared banquet events
Locations: North Melbourne, Brunswick, Elsternwick
Shifts: Majority of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings
The majority of the work available is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. For chefs who commit to weekend events and are looking for additional hours, we also have the option of extra work during the week, assisting with prep at our Elsternwick production kitchen.
We offer a huge amount of flexibility! You are welcome to pick and choose which shifts you want to work!
About You:You must meet these requirements:
Qualified chef with experience running the kitchen at events, banquets or similar
Available to work weekends including at least 2 Fridays or Saturdays per month
Friendly & positive demeanor
Efficient & reliable
Preferred, but not required: Comfortable driving a large van
