- You have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife (Division 1) and have extensive recent clinical experience and knowledge of current Midwifery issues.
- You possess strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to coach, lead, and support a clinical team.
- You understand effective use of resources with critical thinking capability to prioritise safe delivery of woman and family centred care.
In this role you will act as the clinical leader and manager of Maternity Services after hours, being accountable for culture, quality and safety, patient flow, financial management, and patient experience. You will lead the nursing and midwifery team to deliver top-quality woman and family centred care and can ensure an efficient use of resources.
