Centre Cook

We're looking for an experienced cook for a 5 days a week part-time position

Hours can be flexible e.g. 8.30am -3pm, 9am- 2.30pm

We have four classrooms with 8 babies a day, then average of 10 per class (total 38 per day)

We do currently work with Munch and Move guidelines of the menu, happy for variety of meals, menu changes etc, & we provide breakfast to late afternoon tea.

Training paid for including keeping food safety supervisor qualifications up to date.

Qualifications

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

Working with Children Check

Key Responsibilities include:

• Planning and preparing nutritious meals for children on a daily basis.
• Prepare meals to meet the special dietary needs of the children with allergies and cultural preferences.
• Ensure safe and hygienic storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks.
• Order food supplies based upon menus and within service budget
• Complete checklists as required such as checking of food deliveries made to the Centre.
