Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to cook for up to 77 children per day. The successful candidate will be excited to create a varied, healthy, and culturally rich menu for all children. You will have the ability to adapt meals for children with allergies and sensitivities, recognising the significance of this. When creating meals, your focus will be on making them appealing to children, fostering their willingness to explore new flavours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and implementing a healthy and appetising menu in a collaborative environment
- Understanding all allergies, intolerances and cultural food restrictions
- Maintaining a hygienically clean kitchen
- Weekly food orders
- Kitchen safety audits
Requirements:
- Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate
- Paid, Working With Children Check clearance
