We have a six month Centre Director maternity cover role for the right candidate that is ready to grow in their career. The role will be based in Hilton WA, with an ASAP start -date negotiable. Opportunity to go permanent after the contract.
The Centre
Anzuk Education is proud to be working with this beautiful and established privately owned Child Care Centre and on-site Kindergarten offering care and Education for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years of age.
This 80 placement, purpose built centre encourages children to engage, develop and nurture natural curiosity for all stages of a child’s learning and development.
The centre is part of a seven site, WA owned and operated service.
The Opportunity
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced 2IC who is ready to step into a Centre Director role while covering a six month maternity leave.
You will be supported by the current 2IC and operations manager. This short term contract role can lead to a permanent leadership role within the organization for the right candidate.
You will be paid above award, with KPI based opportunities for by-monthly bonuses. The role includes 4 weeks unpaid leave, and can be four or five day weeks, totalling 38 hours. Shifts can be either 8-4.30 or 8.30 -5, depending on preference.
The Ideal Educator
You will be a diploma qualified educator that has recently served as a 2IC at an established child care centre for at least 3 years. You will have a proven track record of successfully undergoing assessment and rating.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable talking to parents. Ideally you will have had 4+ years' experience as a 2IC within the childcare industry.
The ideal candidate will:
- Holds a diploma in Early Childhood Education (Or ACECQA assessed equivalent)
- Has a current First aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Hold a current WA Working with Children Card- Employee
