Work Days of the Role 5 Days a Week

Hours of Work of the Role 38 hours per week

Description Your role as Centre Director will require you to oversee the full operation of the centre which includes, compliance and staff development. You will use your previous experience in a similar role to ensure the high standards of the centre are maintained and using your interpersonal skills to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for children, families and educators. You will be supported by an experienced 2IC and an excellent leadership team to share ideas and experiences with. You will have an in depth knowledge of the EYLF and NQS. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and an innovative approach to take the team to the next level!

Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • Hold a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood
  • Thorough understanding on compliance and implementation of child safety procedures within Early Childhood
  • Significant experience in the early years sector as a Centre Director (2 years minimum)
  • Experience with leading a team, QIP, ELYF and NQS
  • An ability to design and facilitate learning opportunities for Educators, Educational Leaders and Early Childhood Teachers.
  • A true dedication to developing programs to enhance the future of children
  • Provide Professional Development for the team
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Strong knowledge of computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • National Police Check
  • Working With Children Check - E
