They  are looking for an experienced centre manager with a high level of business acumen and the skills to lead a big centre and team of educators. Their vision is in shaping a positive future for our children through our grow, learn and connect curriculum. They place a great focus on family and community engagement as they aim to inspire a love of learning in everyone. 

About the Centre

The  Early Learning Centre is conveniently located next to the local primary school, reserve and is a 6 min drive to the nearest train station. The centre has 9 spacious rooms that support children through their entire learning journey, catering for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. The service is a state-of-the-art facility with beautiful indoor and outdoor environments for children to learn and grow in.

The Opportunity & Responsibilities 

As a Centre Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Centre, encompassing staff management, budget oversight, and effective communication with families, employees & internal stakeholders. 

You will be working in partnership with our Head of Curriculum to lead a high performing team to strive for and provide the highest quality care and education for all children, families, staff and the community. As a Centre Manager, you will ensure a smooth and safe child & family experience and nurture a positive and inclusive culture that encourages collaboration.

About you 

  • Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Children's services
  • Must have minimum 2 years previous Centre Manager experience
  • Previous experience in driving change 
  • Ideally will have had experience in setting up and opening a new service
  • Knowledge and understanding of Children's Services Regulations and National Quality Standards
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Lead, inspire and motivate a team of educators
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care
  • Current Working with Children check, Police Check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, Food Safety Supervisor certificate
