Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated and passionate Director to join our  Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Holmview long day care centre.

This is a brand-new centre, just awaiting the right candidate to make it their own!  With a state-of-the-art building and beautiful hand selected resources, this is the perfect opportunity for a strong leader.

The Role:

• Manage the day to day operations of the Centre in line with legislative requirements, company policies and procedures
• Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to all staff
• Ensure that high quality early learning programs are delivered by a passionate team of Educators
• Manage staffing rosters efficiently 
• Effectively manage the financial requirements of the centre in line with budget guidelines  
• Deliver consistent high quality standards for centre presentation and work practices
• Build and maintain strong relationships with educators, families, children and the local business community
• Ensure you are actively attracting, converting, and retaining families by effectively managing and overseeing tours, enrolments and orientation in conjunction with our Enrolments Team

Selection Criteria 

• A Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Degree as approved by ACECQA
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor in an early childhood setting
• Current approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications 
• Current Blue Card and Police Check
• Extensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
• Excellent understanding of CCS and QikKids
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of qualified and committed early childhood professionals
• Willingness to undertake and co-ordinate ongoing professional development training for Educators
• Critical thinking and reflective practice needs to form a part of your day to day practice
