Temperature Controls are looking for a permanent Full-Time Centre Lathe Machinist to join our team of 6 machinists.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience using a Centre Lathe and Mill
- Trade qualification (or relevant industry experience)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Willing to learn new skills including Tig Welding, Deep bore drilling
- Willing to work in a team environment to achieve job deadlines
Tasks & responsibilities
- Operating a Centre Lathe to machine stainless steel & nickel alloy parts
- Taper turning, Drilling, Taping and Screw Cutting threads
- Follow drawings & job sheet instructions to meet customer requirements
- Custom manufacture of small quantity turned components
