An amazing and rare opportunity to work for WA's most sought after boudoir photography studio has become available for a social media and Content creation genius to start ASAP. The role will be casual 4 days a week Tuesday to Friday (and possibly the occasional Saturday) with the intention to go permanent after a trial period. Immerse yourself in a company who strives to change the lives of women and non-binary people through their unique business model and experience the feeling of looking forward to work in the morning.
Not just a photography studio, Crooked Images set the benchmark in Perth 6 years ago by actually changing the way clients see themselves, whilst also championing the rights of women in standing fiercely for body autonomy, choice, liberation and body reclamation.
Whilst day-to-day business consists of beautiful photoshoots in our stunning East Perth studio, we also pull off large scale group nood shoots around WA and Australia, as well as host amazing events for our clients and members.
We are on the hunt for someone who is a social media genius and can help us with creating Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok content as well as responding to messages across these fields, and is also a Marketing wiz who understands the importance of elevating the company brand and using marketing funnels for small businesses. This role will challenge you from any other, as it comes with the added difficulty of being constantly denied/flagged by the forever frustrating sexualisation of women's bodies on Social media. Finding new and creative ways to dance around these restrictions whilst still showcasing what we do will have us highly impressed.
A skill for writing is important in this role as we don’t simply just share photos and captions but we share the stories of our clients and what they have been through, so others reading on can also feel seen and represented through them. This is truly a unique and fulfilling role that will change the way you view the world and will both simultaneously break and melt your heart. You will be working with a team of supportive and amazing women and our team values and work family spirit is the heartbeat of this business, so we are really on the hunt for someone special to help us spread our message!
The successful candidate will possess:
- qualifications in marketing or creative writing very admirable but not essential for the right candidate (if you don't posses qualifications then we'd love you to wow us in your application)
- high knowledge of social media platforms and features
- experience creating reels
- knowledgeable in current social trends
- not afraid to talk on social media videos/reels
- proven experience in building a brand and marketing strategies highly regarded
- knowledge of websites/traffic highly regarded
- knowledge of paid ads highly regarded
- ESSENTIAL - a good attitude. You could have graduated top of your class in marketing, however if you have a bad attitude or just “coming to do your job and get paid” then we aren't the right employer for you. We are kind, supportive, we laugh, have fun and banter but we also work really hard and take care of each other. It's what makes our team so strong!
NOTE: this is a work in office role. There may sometimes be the option to work from home however we are looking for someone who is fine with working in our East Perth studio. Parking is available!
Due to the nature of our work, Crooked Images is often featured in the media around Perth and Aus, so experience with Publicity work will be highly considered however not at all essential.
