Part-Time 20 Hours per week.
The Centre Manager is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day processes of the Family Centre.
Responsibilities and Duties of this position
Coordinates developing and implementing policies, processes and procedures to ensure the Centre operates optimally.
Maintains positive and collaborative communication, working relationships, and partnerships with various stakeholders, such as government agencies, community groups, not-for-profit organisations, the media, local schools, businesses, and the general public.
Provides financial advice and information to the Committee concerning the Centre’s budget, monthly and end-of-year financial reporting requirements, and other reports.
Provides advice and support to the Centre Committee to ensure that governance processes comply with requirements.
Prepares and presents proposals, funding submissions, and grant applications and develops and implements fundraising and sponsorship plans.
Responsible for marketing services provided by the Centre.
Attend Board of Management meetings, providing timely information and actively participating in discussions.
Undertakes other duties as requested.
Selection Criteria
Essential:
Experience with MYOB
Experience working within a community development or community centre environment.
Experience in a budgetary and financial management environment, including the ability to prepare funding and sponsorship applications.
Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to liaise, consult and negotiate with a range of stakeholders in a variety of contexts.
Conceptual, analytical and research skills, including the ability to offer solutions to complex problems.
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads in order to agreed timeframes.
Able to work independently and without supervision.
