Form of work Little Creatures Childcare Centre is seeking a Qualified person to be the Centre Manager.This is a full time position of 38 hours per week, shift times will vary. Salary is in accordance with Modern Award:($70,000 to $75,000). The applicant will be working at the early education centre that is located at Warwick Road, Duncraig 6023.
The role will include but not limited to:
1. Support the director in the leadership of the team and running of the center to provide high quality care to all children
2. Responsible for the overall management of the centre in the absence of the director
3. Ensure the centres policies are reviewed regularly, ensure all staff know and follow the centre's policies and procedures.
4. Ensure all rooms are programming, planning and implementing experiences for the children
5. Be prepared to assist in any room as required by the staff
6. Conduct annual appraisals on the staff and assist them in forming new goal
7.Be responsible for the induction and mentoring of new staff
8.Enrollment of children
9.Understanding of software package Hubworks and ESI
10. Collection of parent fees.
Qualifications the Applicant must have:
1. Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (a minimum of 3 years' experience)
2. Current Working With Children Check
3. Current First Aid Certificate (HTLAID004)
4. Have actively participated in an Assessment and Rating Visit and Review
5. Must demonstrate sound knowledge of NQS and Education and Care Regulations
