The service is centrally located, close to public transport and provides a parking spot for the leader. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Centre Manager to really make this service your own.
We are looking for a strong leader with experience in a similar setting. You must demonstrate a proven ability to use your communication skills to persuade, engage, inspire, and motivate a team of passionate Educators to deliver optimal learning outcomes for the families being served.
As Centre Manager, you will oversee the daily operations, including but not limited to:
- Guiding and mentoring a small-medium team of Educators
- Supporting and upholding the Centres policies, procedures, philosophy and regulations,
- Attend to administration tasks
- Develop collaborative partnerships with families
- Develop meaningful relationships with the wider local community
- Ensure the highest quality of education and care is transferred throughout.
About you
- Diploma in Child Services (or higher qualification)
- Minimum of 2 years continuous experience in a senior leadership role in a long daycare setting (not negotiable)
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
- Inherently responsible and dedicated to providing a safe and positive environment for children and staff
- Willingness to continue professional development and contribute to ongoing learning
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with families and the wider community
- Strong organisational and time management skills
