As the Centre Manager at Aurora, you will be supported to:
- ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the centre,
- act as the face of the centre to build and maintain strong relationships with our parents and community,
- attend to all office administrative tasks, weekly accounts and reports
- maintain a high quality level of compliance with policies and procedures as per the legislation and NQS, including Ratio Management
- manage all Workplace Health & Safety legislation and issues
- manage occupancy and conversion rates
- coordinate suppliers and subcontractors
- support, supervise and manage team members
We want to connect with you! Here are the things you need to get started in the role.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Centre Manager / Director role in a long day care setting
- Minimum qualification: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or above
- Proven experience in a similar compliance or people management role
- Proven ability to lead, manage and support a team of Educators and staff
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Child Protection legislation & implications (approved Child Protection Training)
- Competent in NQS, EYLF / VEDYLF practice principles
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with CCMS / Word / Excel / Cloud-based apps
- Current Police Check
