About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Centre Services Officer. This role is based in two dynamic environments, providing both public library, and Queensland Government Agency Office services. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service experiences to patrons and clients alike.
This role is casual.
Reporting to the Library Delivery Supervisor, you will be:
- Providing friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable assistance to library patrons, and clients of the Queensland Government Agency Office. Addressing inquiries, providing guidance, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Assisting clients with government-related inquiries, forms, and applications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
- Providing accurate information on library resources, services, programs, and events, as well as government services and initiatives.
- Providing a timely, effective, and accurate level of service including financial records, documentation, record-keeping, transactions, reporting and banking and reconciliation activities.
About yourself
The successful applicant will:
- be flexible, adaptable and open to changing work environments;
- possess strong time management skills and the ability to complete allocated tasks while working within a team;
- have a Working with Children Blue Card or be able to obtain one;
- have a demonstrated high level of customer service skills; and
- have a high attention to detail and strong communication skills.
