In Australia alone, we have a presence on over 47 mining operations and, due to continued growth and internal movement, we currently require an experienced OTR Tyre Technician for our Cape Preston operations in WA:
Role details:
- Opportunities at a variety of different sites, in the Pilbara, Goldfields and Newman regions
- 8:6, 2:1 and 7:7 rosters available
- 12 hr days with day and night shift available
- Great team environment
- Large dual tyre bay with great on-site facilities
Duties include:
- Undertaking planned and reactive tyre changes on a range of mobile mining equipment
- Performing routine inspections and assessing wheel components to remain in service; entering data into our revolutionary tyre management system
- Maintaining pressures and quality in accordance to site specifications
- Upholding our commitment to providing an excellent level of service to our clients
- Leading by example to ensure all personnel comply with site and company policies, procedures, instructions and Golden Rules
- Actively promoting a safety culture across site operations that targets zero harm to personnel and the environment
Role Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of Earthmover tyre fitting experience on mine sites
- A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy; AUR21916/ AUR21920
- A valid HR Driving licence
- A current WorkSafe forklift licence
- Section 26; Advantageous
- Possess a high level of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
- An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures
- Possess a high level of maturity, initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work autonomously
