Certificate III in Plumbing

The Opportunity:

Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is a Group Training Organisation, who employs apprentices and trainees then places them with Host Organisations. We provide support for all apprentices and trainees by way of our mentoring program which fits in with regular visits to the workplace and TAFE.

Duties may include:

• Prepare, examine, and understand plans and specifications
• Create the layout of plumbing systems and required materials
• Measure, cut, or bend pipes into position for connections
• Cut holes through walls and floors to install pipes
• Join pipe sections and secure them
• Assemble and install piping, valves, and fittings
• Test lines using local plumbing regulations and report finding
• Assemble and install plumbing equipment and appliances
• Maintain and repair the plumbing systems 

About You:

• Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
• Completion of Year 10 High School
• Drivers Licence desirable but not essential
• Willing to undertake police check and pre employment medical if required
