SymCare is seeking highly experienced, compassionate and motivated Male casual Support Workers to join our team in Wyndham Vale VIC and surrounding areas. We are seeking workers with proven experience in supporting individuals with mental health issues, intellectual impairment, Challenging Behaviours, trauma- informed care, conflict resolution, restrictive practice & positive behaviour support plans. Responsibilities:
- Providing complex care and support to our participants, including those with Challenging Behaviours of concern
- Providing personal care including showering, toileting, dressing, and medication administration
- Manual Handling
- Performing domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Transportation
- Supporting community engagement activities
- Behaviour and Mental Health Support
- Implementing PBSP strategies when needed
- Effective management of challenging situations.

Requirements:
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Challenging behaviour experience
- Working with Children Card
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Minimum Cert III in Disability or higher qualification in the relevant field
- Minimum 2 years experience
