The duties and team

You will enjoy working in a large, but close knit team of UG mobile plant operators. Reporting to the development or production Supervisor - your duties will include;-

• Charging faces (working with emulsion-based explosives)
• Working closely with the jumbo and long-hole operators
• Working closely with a tight knit crew
• Working in a highly safe manner

Your skills and experience

Your 1-2+ years recent experience working as a Charge Up Operator will put you in a great position with the tasks you will face in this role. Other key skill/ licenses needed;-

• Underground hard rock mining development/production Charge Up experience (essential)
• Underground blasters license
• Experience working with emulsion-based explosives
• Excellent safety standards
• Team player and have the ability to work autonomously
• Looking for long term permanent work on a FIFO 2:2 roster
