We are currently seeking a Marine Fleet Compliance Coordinator to join our technical team. This is an exciting opportunity, giving you broad exposure in a rapidly growing company. The position is full time.
About the Role:
The Marine Fleet Compliance Coordinator is to effectively work with the Technical Manager to ensure the compliant and safe operations of the TSA fleet.
The Marine Fleet Compliance Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing vessel compliance with local, state, federal and international regulators, and classification societies
- Document control of all vessel specific certificates and licenses, ensuring all vessel certifications are current and available to relevant stakeholders
- Planning and scheduling of vessel surveys
- Liaising with the vessel Masters and Engineers regarding vessel safety and compliance
- Liaising with the Technical Manager regarding relevant components of vessel budgets
- Management of freight, logistics & contractors to support TSA compliance.
- Communicating with key stakeholders regarding compliance, logistics and contractors.
- Creation of Purchase Requisitions for compliance related activities
- Providing regular reports to the Technical Manager, Marine Superintendents and FCB Masters regarding vessel management and maintenance costs
- Engagement and coordination of contractors in conjunction with the with the Personnel Department
- Contractor and supplier vetting and prequalification’s
To be successful in this role, you will most likely have:
- Prior experience in a similar role or prior Marine Officer / Engineer experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & Adobe Pro
- Work with accuracy and have strong attention to detail
- Highly organised, motivated, and reliable
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work in a small team environment
- Previous experience within the marine and offshore industries
