MPI are currently seeking an experienced Charge Up operator to join our client in the Eastern Gold Fields Region, reporting to the supervisor, Underground Production, the successful applicant of this role will be responsible for charging both development and production blasts, transport and handling of explosives, maintaining underground firing lines and carrying out shot firing duties.
To be successful in this position, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Extensive experience in underground operations.
- Experience using Emulsion for blasting is preferred.
- Substantial record of safe underground mining practices.
- Dangerous goods and Working at Heights ticket is required.
- Valid Manual C-Class driver's license is a must.
- WA Shot Firer's license is essential.
