Sunset Diner is looking for its next talented Cook or Chef. You will come from a background that has dealt with high volume, with a skill set that has strong leadership, knowledge and organisation at its front.
Experience
• Prior experience working in a fast paced restaurant.
• Knowledge in a food health and safety
• Passion for service and the production of fresh produce
• Greater than 1 year experience (bonus)
Competencies (knowledge, skills and behaviours):
• Ability to multi-task, to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
• Responsible for driving the improvement of people, product and service
• Responsible for the daily management of kitchen production
• Driving stock management, financial performance & areas for growth across the kitchen operations
• An understanding of HACCP and hygiene practices
