Job Description- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and methodical work practices;
- Train, delegate, and effectively communicate with team members;
- Manage ordering and provide valuable feedback;
- Offer support to the Sous Chef and other senior staff;
- Command a specific kitchen section, and when necessary, assist other sections;
- Prioritise hygiene and workplace safety;
- Willingness to assist with weddings and events (training will be provided if no prior experience);
- Report to and interact with the Executive Chef for addressing operational issues and concerns;
- Promote a collaborative atmosphere within the workplace.
- Proficiency in knife skills, including butchery, fish and seafood preparation, poultry, and desserts;
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on presentation;
- High understanding of kitchen operations and culinary expertise;
- Effective communication and conflict management skills;
- Ability to manage stress and work harmoniously with team members.
