About You:
You need to have a genuine passion for the elderly, connecting with each client through good communication skills, compassion and an empathetic nature. You will have previous experience within the Aged Care industry.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food & Assist Chef
- Washing Dishes
- Help with Cleaning/Kitchen or Laundry tasks
- Perform Infection Control cleaning
- Clean facilities communal areas
- Set ups cleaning trolleys and remove rubbish
- Complete kitchen records
- Must be available for ON-CALL
- Willing to do 2-3 or more shifts a week.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Current Federal Police Check
- NDIS worker screen card, or prepared to obtain one
- Current Flu Vaccination Certificate
- Current Covid vaccination and state government booster requirements
- Driver’s licence, reliable car, and mobile phone (essential)
- Previous cleaning / laundry experience, ideally within the Aged Care industry
- Have a good understanding of the safety chemicals and their correct and safe handling
- And or Food Handlers Certificate/Commercial Cookery Certificate
- Willing to travel to locations at own expense. Allowance may be available.
