The opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Property operations, including existing developments, sourcing new opportunities, opportunity realisation and maintaining our existing diverse property portfolio. The Director of Property will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including councils, project managers, quantity surveyors, builders, internal departments and the Board of Directors to ensure successful execution of Property-related initiatives.
The role
As the Director of Property, you will:
- Manage and maintain the existing property portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and operational requirements.
- Establish a robust governance framework.
- Develop and implement strategies for property renewal, refurbishment, and maintenance to enhance the quality and functionality of the accommodation provided to our residents and staff.
- Monitor property performance metrics.
- Identify and evaluate new opportunities for property development.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
About you
- Tertiary qualified in Commerce, Law, Property Investment, Valuation (or another relevant field).
- Experience in property management, development, and acquisitions, preferably within the aged care or healthcare sector.
- Strong strategic planning skills and commercial acumen applied to leasing, portfolio management and property operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of driving results and managing cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools, financial analysis, and reporting systems.
