This large busy park caters for work stay guests and tourists offering fully equipped cabins, van sites and a great pool to relax in.
The RoleAs the Chef, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and cost-effective food service, with the smooth day-to-day operation of a commercial kitchen.
Adhere to all HSE policies, procedures & safe food handling practices.
Create dishes of high quality that will nourish and delight our guests.
Assist in overseeing all kitchen employees, including training and performance development.
Maintain a high standard of cleaning processes.
14/7 roster. (1 week breakfast shift, 1 week dinner shift)
About YouIn order to be successful in this role you will need:
- Previous Chef experience and accustomed to cooking in high volume buffet-style kitchens.
- Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in electronic purchase ordering and cost management
- Proven experience in planning and developing menus
- Proven ability to work within a team and autonomously
- Ability to prepare and plan ahead
- Current First Aid Certificate is highly desirable
- HACCP experience essential, with a high emphasis on food hygiene
- Current Drivers License.
