CHEF - Part Time

Come and work with Majestic Hotels, South Australia's largest boutique, locally owned and operated accommodation group comprising of six properties located throughout Adelaide, North Adelaide and regional South Australia.

Culshaw's Restaurant - Awarded the Trip Advisor Hall of Fame and Certificate of Excellence in 2019 - is located within the Majestic Roof Garden Hotel, situated just off cosmopolitan Rundle Street in the East End of Adelaide.

As a Chef you will work closely with all levels of staff including the Sous Chef, the kitchen team, and members of the Food and Beverage Department. You will be a hands-on chef, with a lot of creative drive who rises to challenges to meet high standards when it comes service and product delivery. Your role will mostly focus on the efficient preparation of a busy full a la carte breakfast service, cooked to order and as required assist with functions, dinners and events.

Duties

• Focus on maintaining and delivering high quality products
• Assist with creating exceptional quality seasonal menus
• Emphasis on sourcing local produce 
• Maintain operational standards of the kitchen department
• Exceptional delivery of customer service 
• Use initiative to manage and resolve customer and product faults

Skills & Experience

• Strong leadership skills
• Commercial cookery certificate
• Industry experience in a similar venue or establishment
• A strong understanding of kitchen operations and standards
• A demonstrated understanding of hygiene/cleanliness
• A very high level of attention to detail
• Exceptional time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Consistent and professional approach to delivering customer service
• A shared passion towards our group's vision and values

This is a Part Time position.  The successful candidate must be available to work weekends, Public Holidays and all meal times.
