Chef / Qualified Cook - Part-Time & Casual

Dreamworld, White Water World, and SkyPoint deliver a variety of diverse and creative menu options ranging from restaurant, cafe style and fast food menus by day to a unique array of culinary delights for our seasonal activations and special events. We currently have part time (20 hours per week) and casual roles available for qualified Chefs or experienced Cooks to join the team.Under the guidance of our experienced Kitchen team, you will enjoy learning and preparing the diverse and creative menus offered in park and during our unique seasonal activations.To be considered, we’re looking for candidates that have:

• Previous experience in kitchen operations, preferably in events and faced paced environments.
• Knowledge of all aspects of high volume food preparation and presentation;
• Experience and ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
• Good reliability and a self-motivated team player with an eye for detail and exceptional interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work a 7-day roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays
• Good physical ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding work;
• Have a good working knowledge and practical application of Food Safe Standards.

Successful applicants will form a pool of Chefs that are available to assist with events and banquets as well as work across a variety of outlets at Dreamworld. Shifts will vary ranging from early mornings, afternoons, late nights and weekends. These opportunities would also suit chefs and cooks seeking additional hours or a second role, and hours will vary depending on your availability.We are offering a variety of casual and part time positions for the right candidates.
