located in Canberra is now recruiting a dedicated full-time Head Chef/Restaurant Manager/wait staff to join our growing team.
Duties/Responsibilities: Chef
Plan and organize the preparation and cooking of food in several settings.
must have experience in a Bistro/pub food.
Develop menus, specify food purchases and analyze recipes to assign prices to menu items, based on food, labor, and overhead costs
Strong business acumen, operational understanding and cost management reporting - including working to budgets and forecasting, managing labour costs, target achievement
Manage the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation in front of house and administrative areas
Stock management & staff roster
Recruit and train new staff
Maintain the highest professional food quality and sanitation standards
Duties/Responsibilities: Restaurant Manager
Manage the day-to-day operation of the restaurant including kitchen, front of house and administrative areas
Strong business acumen, operational understanding and cost management reporting - including working to budgets and forecasting, managing labour costs, and target achievement.
Develop drinks menu, Stock management & staff roster
Recruit and ensure effective training and development for staff
Implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance of all operational standards
Duties/Responsibilities: Waitstaff
takes orders from customers, serves food and beverages, offers menu suggestions, answers customer questions, maintains cleanliness standards, ensures a pleasant dining experience and can prepare and make drinks.
Note: RSA certification is compulsory.
Benefits and perks
A great salary package ($60,000 to $85,000) will be awarded to the right candidate
