Sirrom Integrated Facility Services are currently seeking applications for full-time Chefs with a passion for great food and excellent service with a difference, to join our teams in our mining villages throughout Queensland across Mackay/ Bowen Basin & surrounds. Our workforce accommodation villages offer a "home away from home”.
About You
- Must have a current open driver's license and reliable car.
- Experience in high volume Catering as a Qualified Chef
- Lead and deliver high quality service, food service and preparation methods.
- Ability to collaborate with a team environment of Chefs, Kitchen Hands and Dining Room Employees and the ability to empower your team for success.
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP and food safety policies and procedures
- Knowledge of workplace safety systems
Minimum Requirements for all positions:
- Min Qualifications Cert III (Line) or IV in Commercial Cookery equivalent
- Bulk Catering Experience, ensuring consistency and excellence in food presentation standards for Breakfast, Crib, Dinner and Desserts
- Must be able to manage to kitchen independently
- Camp fit - experience working 14 days straight, 10-12 hours per day
- Right to Work in Australia
- Medical + Drug & Alcohol Screen
- National Police Check (within 1 month)
Current Roles Available
- 3 x Line Chefs, from $90,000 plus superannuation
Experienced Line Chefs who are hands on and can lead and deliver high quality service to our clients on a 14/7 Roster (14 days on, 7 days off)
The successful candidates will have strong experience in a fast-paced Catering operation. Accommodation and meals provided whilst on shift. Non-permanent rooms, and you must leave site on your days off.
