Chefs or Cooks

On behalf of the Cobram Hotel in VIC,we are currently seeking Chefs or Cooks on a full-time basis.

These arefull-time roles offering a 38-hour working week with two days off each week.

Yourresponsibilities will include but not be limited to:

·        Foodpreparation and cooking to order during service, private parties, and functions

• Preparation, season and cooking of all dishes in our restaurant
• Able to work pans, grills, fryers efficiently
• Checking quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients

·        Stafftraining and mentoring

·        Menudesign, implementation and costing both food and labour

·        Managingstock control and monitoring wastage

·        Staffrosters

·        HACCP experience essential, with a highemphasis on food hygiene 

·        Supplierliaison

·        Ensuringsafe work practices with focus on workplace health and safety

·        Followhygienic food handling practices

It isessential that applicants possess either a Certificate 3 or 4 in CommercialCookery (or equivalent) and must have a least 2 - 3 years experience incommercial kitchens post qualification.

The salaryrange will be between $70,000 - $85,000 per year plus super depending onexperience and role.
