We are seeking a 1st year Apprentice Cook/Chef to join our team!
We operate Mon-Fri in Port Melbourne and are looking for someone to join our kitchen team.
You will be undertaking:
- Preparation of daily salads and salad bowls
- Cooking off bulk meats
- Chopping and grating of vegetables
Training for an apprentice cook covers basic culinary skills, knife skills, knowledge of ingredients, use of commercial equipment and kitchen procedures.
You should be eager to learn, have a positive mentality towards the industry and always prepared to come in with a smile on your face.
This is for an immediate start with a semi-flexible roster between the days of Mon-Fri 8am-4pm.
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
