Mackerel Islands Pty. Ltd. T/A Onslow Beach Resort is located in a remote coastal destination in Australia's Northwest region.

We're currently looking for experienced Chefs/Cooks to join our team of kitchen staff.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have:

• A Hospitality qualification and at least 2 - 3 years of employment experience;
• Previous experience in a high-quality resort, hotel or restaurant
• Catering experience
• Strong team leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised or as an integral team member
• Flexible work ethic with a passion to create unique and memorable experiences

Responsibilities will include:

• Prepare food, ensuring the quality and presentation of food is according to resort standard
• Maintain resort standards for sanitation and hygiene
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
• Minimise spoilage and waste by utilising food surpluses and portion control
• Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals
• Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service
• Assist in menu compilation and development

We are also looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team as well.

Applicants for this role will need at least 2-3 years' experience in a similar position.

A remuneration package between $70,000 - $80,000 plus complimentary accommodation will be offered to the successful candidates.
