In this hands on roles, the chosen candidates must:
- - Ensure food preparation and quality is of the highest standard possible
- - Manage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guide lines
- - Ensure hygiene is maintained to the required standards
- - Maintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after service
- - Assist the head chef in cost control and assist in ensuring budgeted profit and targets are met
- - Able to work unsupervised and harmoniously with the rest of the staff
- - Minimum of three years post qualification experience in prep and a la carte essential (Lunch & Dinner)
- - Appropriate trade qualifications
- - Experience in fast paced, service and quality focused venues
- - Guest orientated and passionate about food
- - Sound knowledge of food hygiene practices
- - The ability to work well under pressure with an eye for detail
- - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- - Happy to work split shifts if required
- - Possess a positive attitude and work well as a part of the team
