We have been retained by the Board & CEO of this privately owned business to identify and acquire a high calibre Sales & Marketing Executive. With revenues fast approaching $100m pa they design, manufacture and install premium products within a niche but growing market segment. The opportunity to extend their reach within A&NZ and internationally is firmly on the agenda. 

You have been described as an "inspirational leader" and will be tasked to drive business and revenue growth across the Group, with initial focus being on growing the Australian business through sales and marketing leadership. Responsible for direction setting, developing sales management and people leadership to a team of 70 across Sales, Marketing, Service Delivery and Product teams.

Reporting to the CEO, as a key member of the ELT, as an accomplished sales and marketing leader from within a substantial (and preferably global sales) organisation with the ability to add broad strategic, commercial and leadership value to a conversation beyond functional expertise. You will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage with others based on emotional intelligence rather than positional power.

This position would suit either a seasoned operator or an emerging Executive from a larger business producing and selling physical products looking for a broader mandate in a smaller business. You will demonstrate excellent problem solving & decision-making skills with the ability to see issues from a number of angles and through a variety of lenses Team, Customer, Shareholder. A positive, inquisitive personality who enjoys developing close & mutually supportive working relationships that allow for robust conversations around competing views.

A strategist who can tackle challenging issues and make timely decision based on good judgement with the ability to view a challenge from stakeholder perspectives. Exceptional communicator and negotiator who is able to gain commitment from others. Committed to regular travel with an innate understanding of cultural norms outside A&NZ You will leverage your experience in leading, growing and mentoring sales and marketing staff an re-engineering territory management and sales operating model. A passionate team but easy going ELT awaits you.
