Leading Roles is seeking an experienced Chief Executive for a well-established Queensland-based public sector peak body.
IPWEA QLD & NT is a membership organization whose purpose is "to enhance the quality of life for all Queensland communities by advancing the skills, knowledge and resources available to those involved in the planning and provision of public works and services."
The organisation offers a range of services to its members supporting their learning, professional development, professional networks and maintenance of their professional registration (RPEQ).
IPWEA QLD&NT also operates as a peak body for engineers that are engaged in public works and the organisations and sectors that employ them.
IPWEA QLD & NT has a strong professional engagement program and is a high-value partner to its corporate associates, members and subscribers, and offers knowledge, experience, guidance and access to the key decision-makers in the public works sector.

The Board is seeking a CEO who will work with them to:
- develop strategically aligned plans, business cases and options to deliver sustainable services and growth.
- undertake an organizational review, repositioning the organization and ensuring its governance framework, operating systems, structure, products and services are fit for purpose and sustainable.
- establish the workforce to achieve the organisation's strategic goals, build capability and resilience and lead with a focus on performance and culture.
