In this newly created role, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and lead a small team of permanent staff along with a committed tribe of casuals and volunteers, located around Australia, however predominantly on the East Coast.
As the COO your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and build a safety culture that is accountable and enables proactive decision-making.
- Review, refine, and implement an appropriate risk management strategy.
- Partner with diverse stakeholders – employees, volunteers, and partners to deliver exceptional programs for children and young people.
- Partner with the clinical specialists to identify, research and design appropriate programs to meet market needs and funding opportunities.
- Design and implement operational plans in line with strategy that enable long term planning and resource allocation.
You are a seasoned professional with energy and a proven track record in operational leadership within or where you partner with charity stakeholders. You understand and have had responsibility for program delivery, service delivery, project management, and compliance. You are a problem solver who loves operations, systems, processes, and outcomes. You can take the strategy and build strong delivery programs and teams with planning, policies, training, and the use of data.
