As a seasoned health executive, your role will involve shaping an ambitious strategic direction for Albury Wodonga Private Hospital. You will play a pivotal role in identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion, while also taking on the responsibility of directly leading hospital management teams, cultivating, and maintaining strong relationships with Visiting Medical Officers and the developing a collaborative local community feel. You'll report to the VIC State Operations Manager and receive support from the Director of Clinical Services and Director of Finance. Your leadership will inspire your teams to uphold exceptional standards of customer service and clinical care while also leveraging your influence to drive necessary strategic changes.

Your ability to engage with individuals from all walks of life will be crucial. The successful candidate will demonstrate a sincere interest in Ramsay as an organisation and bring substantial experience in a comparable senior executive environment.
Essential Criteria:
- Extensive senior management/executive experience.
- Collaborative stakeholder engagement ability.
- Strong business development, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Track record in quality improvement and organisational change.
- Deep financial management expertise.
- Proficiency in team building, people development, and in achieving high performance.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management, Clinical studies, or relevant professional experience are preferred.
The Hospital
Established in 1979, Albury Wodonga Private Hospital has evolved from a single ward with 35 beds and two operating theatres to the region's largest Private Hospital, offering 96 beds, seven operating theatres, a Day Surgery Unit, Mental Health centre, and a range of diagnostic and support services. Renowned as one of regional Australia's most progressive hospitals, it has undergone recent refurbishments to meet evolving community health needs. The Ramsay Health Precinct, now a comprehensive 'ONE STOP HEALTH SERVICE,' houses various health partners on-site. Equipped with advanced technology, the hospital provides a diverse range of inpatient and day patient services, including orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, ENT, gynaecology, plastic surgery, breast surgery, general medical, cardiology, psychiatry services, and paediatric surgery.
