ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will work closely with the Board of Directors to develop and implement strategic plans, manage budgets, and oversee operations to ensure the organisation achieves its mission and goals.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Create, communicate, and implement the organisation's vision and overall direction.
- Provide leadership and set performance expectations for the executive management team to ensure alignment with overall goals.
- Drive organisational culture, focusing on customer service and continuous improvement across a diverse workforce.
- Oversee total operations, ensuring alignment with strategic plans, and monitor performance against budgets and plans.
- Awareness of external and internal competitive landscapes, market changes, and new industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Represent the organisation and the Board of Directors, fostering positive relationships with community, industry stakeholders, and networks across states and nationally.
- Balancing increased returns on investment in programs and services with evolving stakeholder and client expectations for enhanced service delivery across multiple sites and a diverse client base.
- Maintain operational independence while aligning strategic objectives and plans with the Board of Directors' broader change agenda.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or similar.
- Proven executive leadership experience.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to navigate economic and regulatory challenges.
- Success in managing complex organisations and leading change.
- Strong financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to create a positive organisational culture that values customer service, innovation, collaboration, and diversity.
