Total Remuneration Package relative to experience, ranges from $363,808 to $412,013
Western City Parklands Authority are currently seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to lead the Authority in delivering the Bradfield City Centre and attracting investment to the region. At 114-hectares, Bradfield City Centre is one of the biggest urban development projects ever undertaken in Australia and is the first major city to be built in over 100 years, and this role will be pivotal in driving its success.
The role will have a strong focus on the timely delivery of major projects and enabling works, investment attraction and driving economic opportunities for the benefit of the Aerotropolis and the wider Western Parkland City.
Working with all levels of government, the Board, industry and community, the role will be critical in managing key interfaces and relationships across these stakeholder groups.
About You
You will be a motivating leader with demonstrated success in leading organisations through an ever-evolving environment.
You will have proven capabilities to lead a team with direction and purpose, energising them to deliver on the exciting opportunity to build a new city in Western Sydney.
You will be an effective communicator, who is able to negotiate and collaborate with key stakeholders with competing interests in a dynamic environment.
Essential Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualifications, with post-graduate qualifications highly regarded.
Experience at senior levels within relevant industries, consulting, industry associations, research and commercialisation institutions, government or related sectors.
Demonstrated substantial management experience in building and leading high performing teams.
Extensive experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders, with management experience within the public sector at a senior executive level highly regarded.
Excellent issue management skills with the capacity to manage complex and sensitive issues.
