About the role
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) reports to the CIO and will support them in engaging with the board on all information security related matters. The CISO will regularly review and update the over-arching Information Security Strategy for the group, ensuring its relevance in addressing cyber threats, meeting government, market and industry expectations, and harnessing business and cyber security opportunities. The position leads a team with ownership of information security and privacy programs that ensure compliance with policies, standards, regulations, and legislation and achieve target maturity levels. This is in parallel to supporting the business in its ongoing operations.
