To serve the growing needs of the Maitland community we are seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist.
The roles involves 28.5h/week of clinic based consultations reviewing patients referred by GPs for assessment and management. Weekly clinical supervision with Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist Dr Ian McCracken is provided.
You will join an adult psychiatrist, a general paediatrician, GPs with special interests in mental health (including complex trauma, eating disorders, gender dysphoria & neurodiversity), adult and teen psychologists and a dietitian with a special interest in eating disorders.
Remuneration is a salary of $400k p.a. pro rata plus superannuation with 6 weeks annual leave.

- FRANCP or assessed as substantially comparable by the RANCP
Maitland is semi-rural with a population of 80,000. It is 35 minutes from Newcastle's CBD and beaches, 30min from the Hunter valley Wineries and 15min from the end of the M1 (Pacific Motorway).
